Mark Shenton interviews Laurence Connor

Director Laurence Connor's production of Miss Saigon is now on the U.K. and Ireland tour. Laurence continues to experience critically acclaimed success on both sides of the Atlantic with West End and Broadway productions of Miss Saigon and School of Rock. 

Mark Shenton, Associate Editor of The Stage, interviewed Laurence to discuss his previous credits, his start in the theatre industry as a performer and the UK tour of Miss Saigon. 

'I've been very lucky with all my recreations of getting to work with the original teams. I still had the original writers and everyone else around, so I could find out the structure and understand how a scene should come together, and how we could condense the narrative.'
